Mrs Music - Mrs McClenaghan

Mrs McClenaghan, or as Mr Bell called her ‘Mrs Music, was a volunteer and valued member of the Botanic team for over 10years until her untimely death in 2022. 

She gave freely of her time to assist with choir, music productions, school plays and even helped the pupils compose their own music for performances.

She supported the staff in growing a staff choir, and it must also be said that Ruth often brought in the yummiest of cakes to boost staff spirit on a dreary Monday morning. 

Mrs McClenaghan really put music in all of our hearts. She was one in a million and, for all those reasons, we continue to celebrate her as a most special volunteer, colleague and friend.
